Good stove - grates overheat our cookware handles

The range works very well and we only have one issue. The grate above the burners get extremely hot during the cooking process. So hot that all our cookware handles are too hot to touch - this was not the case with our previous gas range.

Solid appliance

Purchased this range in November of 2024. I am a propane service technician, so I performed the conversion from NG to propane myself. The conversion was straightforward and simple. The burners and oven work wonderful. The temperature of the oven/broiler seem to be spot on. Controls are very easy to use and it’s very easy to keep clean. The price point didn’t break the bank! Very happy with our purchase!

Great Range

I really like the configuration of the burners on this gas range, as well as the capacity of the oven. I also like the electronic controls. This is replacing a GE range that has lasted many years. The old one was still operational. It was just time for a new one.

Nice Kitchen Range

Nice looking, simple to use, The oven seems to hold to the selected setting. Great basic kitchen range. The only drawback is that the timer signal isn't as loud as it could be, especially if you're in the other end of the house.

Love the look and simplicity

We are blessed to find a simple oven that doesn’t have too many un needed features. The oven cooks extremely even and the broiler is such a nice thing to have in the kitchen. We absolutely love it and can’t recommend it enough for someone that wants a simple reliable oven. It looks awesome too

Setup Not Straightforward

I converted it from Natural Gas to Propane, good thing I had 9/32" or 7mm sockets to change out the orifices under the burners and 1/4" nut drivers to remove the cover inside the oven. I had to find the owner's manual online to figure out how to take off the door. That instruction should come in the directions for the conversion because you really need to take the door off to get to the pressure regulator. So on the side of the hinge it says lock with no mention of UNLOCK. Push that piece up to unlock on both hinges and then barely open it 3 inches and pull the door out. Now step 3 is poorly written, it says "Turn the metal cap so the type of gas being converted to is displayed". What it should say is FLIP the cap upside down to change it to the other type of gas and when you flip it you can see the type of gas is read right side up. NG will be upside down and LP will be right side up then screw it back in and put the plastic cap back on. And leveling the range is a literal PAIN. You will need gloves or one of those rubbery jar openers because it is like they made the leveling feet out of razor blades. It isn't a nice plastic gear like most appliances. The feet are made of metal with jagged skin ripping edges. Oh and make sure you have a level on hand for the setup too.
