So far, so good. The size is perfect for my husband & I. Larger families may need more space. The handles show fingerprints but the frig itself doesn't. The sides are also a slate color. STEPPED INTO THE 21RST CENTURY

My old fridge had a leak that caused water to pool under the vegetable bin. After 4 visits it was deemed nonrepairable by American Home Sheild. They gave me an option for a replacement. They don't make them like my Kenmore anymore. My old fridge had internal water dispenser, ice maker and deli tray. I needed the ice and water features wasn't concerned about a deli drawer, so I chose this side by side. BABY LET ME TELL YOU!!! This fridge is one of the BEST, if not the BEST!!! Plugged it in and could immediately feel the coolness start. Love the water and icemaker features. I get crushed ice now!!! No more opening the freezer to get ice or water!! I was concerned about the inside since my old fridge had a top freezer. The fridge and freezer are both large and spacious. I saw were some complained about the placement of the water filter and uselessness of the top shelf. Not sure what they are talking about as I have orange juice, gallon of milk and a couple of bottles of win on the top shelf. Better made than my old fridge as the filter and water made it hard to place items on the top shelf. I like having that the fridge door provides several latches for shelf adjustment. Also LOVE LOVE LOVE the alarm to let you know the door is not closed. I have the same on a standalone freezer in the basement. One of the deciding factors of this over a different brand of fridge. This side by side is beautiful, sleek and has lots of room. EXTREMELY happy with my replacement and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! SO VERY PLEASED WITH ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES ON THIS FRIDGE!!!!

We definitely made a mistake with choosing a side by side. It is smaller than my old fridge even though it is the same cubic feet. I can only fit about half of what we did in the old one. The drawers at the bottom of the fridge are inconvenient to access and don't slide very well. I do like the freezer. It is easier to find stuff compared to the drawer style we had before. I was very excited about the water and ice dispenser but the water flow is so slow and the ice spits out all over so we miss the cup a lot. That may be because we try to fill our insulated cups and not just a standard glass. I love the finish style, no fingerprints all over! It looks cleaner than stainless steal.

It is a good side by side freezer & refrigerator. The freezer does what it is suppose to do and keep things frozen the refrigerator half has nice separate vegetable bin and meat/cheese bin. Outside temperature LED display. One door for bother ice and filtered chilled water. Easy. no mark, grey stainless steel finish. Lots of room in two large drawers.

I just got this fridge and I will say so far so good. I love the LED lights and how they are flushed in the ceiling of the fridge. My old fridge had the bulky light bulb which took up space. I also love the larger door trays which allows me to put gallon size jugs to free up space on my shelves. The only thing that I would change would be the shelving on the freezer side. I would prefer glass shelving as I had in my old fridge.

LOVE our new GE Side-by-Side

We replaced our black GE Side-By-Side, which was still working very well but a bit noisy (getting on in years). With pandemic shopping a once-a-month affair, we couldn't take the risk of it failing. I especially appreciate the LED interior lighting-much brighter and very low profile, so there's even more space for our stuff. This model is basically an update of what we had; the only noticeable difference is that it doesn't have a cheese/snack drawer. The updated exterior design and slate color add an elegant touch to our kitchen, which we like very much.

Reviewed many refrigerators before deciding on this GE model. The slate color is stunning, the design lines are clean, there's plenty of storage inside and is well lit when the doors open.
