Thus hasnt dried the items completely since its purchas in January 2023. When the tech came out he voluntarily changed a cycle. Well now I cant use the particular cycle which I need. However the other things he did were fine but it still doesnt dry totally.

Good when it is working but intermittent issues

I bought this less than a year ago. The dishwasher works well however an intermittent issue has recently started happening. At times the dishwasher fails to start. There are no issues shown in diagnostics. A technician came out to access the issue however the unit had started working again so he couldnt figure out what caused the problem. A week after the technician came the issue happened again. I sent video of issue to the technician of the problem but he never responded to me. The dishwasher works well when it is operational but the intermittent error is frustrating.

Avoid black stainless

The product itself is fine so far. I bought black stainless and it is peeling. I thought black stainless was the color of the product itself but its a thin cheap coating that peels after an only 2 years. I bought 4 LG appliances under 3 years ago and 2 are peeling. Its so disappointing.

Purchased knowing LG was a good product but when delivered the times on the bottom had some bent and the glasses cups and silverware werent always dry. We just complained and a tech was here. Worked to fix but water was hot and all else was compliant. LG sent a new rack which we appreciate.

Not worth the money

Replaced our old version of this dishwasher. Immediately had a leak under the front door when running. Called for service and was given the run around by them referring me to the installer when I knew it was NOT an install issue. Had to get stern and forceful for them to send out repair on my less than week old dishwasher. The repair guy was nice and said he had never seen anything like this before and replaced the entire front door panel which had a leaky connection. The interior of the machine is much smaller than previous model. Dishes and glasses always come out with water spots even when using a rinse agent. Sometimes they dont get cleaned and I am certain it is not due to overpacking the machine as thats not even possible. For the cost of this machine its disappointing but I suppose its better than handwashing my dishes.

I purchased the LDTS5552D for the steam option and its high reviews. I really like the ability to run a light load for only the top or only the bottom racks. The heavy duty cycle was able to remove iced tea stains from a jar. Im very impressed with the cleaning ability of this dishwasher. It also dries much better than any previous dishwasher Ive owned. Its quiet and efficient. I set it usually on auto with steam and the dishes come out clean and dry. The 3rd rack for silverware is a game changer Its easy to load and unload without bending over every time I want to put silverware in there. Its not deep enough for a ladle so I put those in the silverware container in the bottom rack. Its very convenient to have both. Im very happy with this dishwasher

Do not buy if you have squarish dish ware

My in-laws recently installed this dishwasher in their kitchen. They absolutely hate the way the bottom rack is set up. They have squarish-shaped dishes including bowls and the dishes will not line up properly on the bottom row racks. The tines on the racks seem to be too widely spaced apart and their plates will slip through and hit the water and heating implements. As a result they have to load some of their plates in the cups section and put some cups in the dish section. Its super annoying and they would have returned this product if there had been any alternatives available.

Easy to install easy to use. Honestly there isnt a lot to write about it. I purchased the dishwasher through LG scheduled the delivery there was only 1 day each week for deliver so that made it easy. LG sent slots of updated on the order and deliver it arrived they set it in the kitchen for me and I installed it. It was super easy and straight forward hook up the power drain line and water line and youre 90 done. Slide the dishwasher into the space and attached it to the cabinets and countertop brackets took a minute to find the brackets all hiding in the basket in the dishwasher. I hit start and let it do its job. I had the old dishwasher out and this one in within an hour and half.

I would not buy this item again. I love LG products but this item was not designed very good. My last LG dishwasher had 6 racks in the bottom to hold different size dishes and they also lay down for pots. This dishwasher only has 4 racks and two of them dont lay down.

This is a replacement for a dishwasher I had had for many years. I like the small slide out rack for especially my baking utensils. However I have found that it does not hold as many dishes as my previous one. I also find it more difficult to place large casserole dishes along with plates. Very concerned about the banging and thumping soud

When the dishwasher is running it makes such loud bangs and thumps that from upstairs we kept thinking something in the house had fallen over. It seems to be doing a good job of cleaning but this banging noise is very concerning. Even if we run it empty it sounds like some SLAMMING the water on and off. The dishwasher is easy to load and very quite. The only thing that I dont like you only have about 4 seconds to select wash cycles and start. If you dont get it started before the time is up you have to start all over. Dishes get very clean.

Im still learning the controls but Im confident that Im on the right track. I had it installed with the Home Depot and the gentlemen were respectful as well as capable. No complaints whatsoever. Ive always been very satisfied with Home Depot delivery and install. I pay for the removal of old appliances delivery and install of new. Its SO worthy it. Very good quality for sure. Not cheap either but we decided to invest in a good dishwasher and LG was highly recommended by the sales person. It is louder than our old one especially when its filling with water - however the rest of the cycle is quiet. The wi-fi connection consistently goes offline and I have to set it from the dishwasher. Not big issues but for the price we paid I wanted to report it.

We purchased this dishwasher about a month ago and we just love it. It cleans so much better than our old one. It is so quiet that you cant tell if its running we dont need to turn up the television to hear it when the dishwasher is running Love the many features it has. I would definitely recommend.

Great features but service issues

Love controls are hidden when door closes

Purchased recently along with other LG appliances. I have a daycare cook for several families in need....I do a LOT of dishwashing....this is by far the best dishwasher Ive had. Love that the control panel is hidden when door is closed keeps kids from playing with them. Its NOT loud when running. So many different selections based on my daily washing needs.

Lots of features

We just purchased this dishwasher and so far it has worked fairly well. It has so many features almost too many choices but takes sooooo long to do a load of dishes. This will be a problem with the holidays coming up so soon. The dishes do get nice and clean which is the reason for a dishwasher to begin with however the drying function could be better. Maybe we have not yet utilized all of the various functions. We had hoped that by buying a more expensive dishwasher that it will last longer than our previous one.

Cleans Dishes very Well
