I bought this through lg because it comes with an installation. Its been 3 weeks and 4 visits with their installers and it still isnt installed properly. Lg offered a 1 time inconvenience amount after 1 week but now after 3 I plan on getting my own installers and they are not able to help more. I dont plan on ever buying lg again.

After having only for a few days I will say that this set is not for people who have pets or children. The rubber lining on the inside of the washer catches and holds onto all kinds of hair and dirt... I have never had a washing machine with this kind of issue at 2000$ I am very surprised. I am cleaning the inside of the washing machine as much as I am washing clothes. I am also surprised that at 2 grand it doesnt come with water hook ups OR THE POWER CABLE FOR THE DRYER.

Frustrated LG Buyer 9/11/2024

We ordered the LG Washtower LG Steam Closet more than 4 weeks ago and just had to reject our third delivery due to damage in shipping and handling. Hopefully the 4th time ends up being the charm and we can finally be able to receive a working new condition unit. For a long time LG consumer I cant believe the lack of engineering they put into their packaging. We have not experienced this with any past washer dryers from other manufactures nor with any of the other LG products we have in our home. All of which were delver either by traditional delivery UPS Fedex or white glove services. We hope this isnt some change in how LG operates. We are an LG family with two 2 LG OLEDs 2 LG Refrigerators we remodeled our kitchen so have both a new MAX and use or old LG as spare in the basement plus multiple LG Computer monitors for WFH Gaming. I have done product development for electronic products always worked hard even on the packaging meeting/exceeded ASTM standards. Typically our engineering teams will internally design or use at least 2 outside vendors to design and provided multiple samples for testing. It is clear packaging went thru none of this and they assumed the washer tower could be handled like any normal washer dryer. So be preprepared to go thru multiple deliveries to ensure a new clean product from LG. Heres hoping the 4th time is the Charm because there wont be a 5th.

LG Stacked Washer/Dryer Has Never Worked Properly

I am extremely disappointed with my recent purchase of this LG stacked washer/dryer. I bought this unit on June 29 2024 and from the start the dryer has been problematic. Despite having a service repair professional visit my home four times to address the issue the dryer remains inoperable. To make matters worse I even had a licensed electrician check the power supply and it was confirmed that the problem is not with the electrical connection. It is now August 9 2024 and my brand new dryer has not worked properly since purchase. The ongoing issues with this appliance have been incredibly frustrating and inconvenient. Given the repeated repairs and the clear evidence that the problem is not with my homes power supply I am left feeling that this product is defective. I strongly recommend considering other options if you are looking for a reliable washer/dryer unit. This experience has been far from satisfactory and has not met the quality standards I expected from LG.

This is a compact washer dryer tower that has several useful modes and functions. The small load function on the washer and steam function on the dryer are the most notable for me- sometimes I only need to wash a few items. The steam function works wonders for removing wrinkles from clothing.

Bought the wash tower 8 months ago and already having problems with sensor. Since it is still under warranty we are having to wait on service company Sears to come repair. They were scheduled to come back out on Tuesday between 8-5 since they finally got parts in waited all day with no call no show. Notified lg of service company issues and we were rescheduled for this upcoming week shall see. We have been waiting almost a month now for parts and repair Dont think I would recommend this unit as it is way too soon to be having issues like this with a brand new machine in household of 2.

LG contracts with shoddy lying delivery companies. I am livid. Your products are completely worthless LG if you cant be bothered to contract with reliable deliverers. I spent a half hour watching a tracker tracker app as my delivery driver traveled toward my house then went to THE WRONG ADDRESS my house number on the wrong street sat there for awhile then canceled our order and went back to his warehouse when nobody answered the door. Because it was not our house. I called the delivery company and was told my unit has been sent back to the warehouse and the drivers will not turn around. I was told the driver waited at my house with no answer for 10 minutes...which was a LIE as I was sitting next to the door with the door wide open for over an hour waiting and watching. I realize LG is not in control of the delivery company but at the end of the day if they contract with a shoddy and unreputable company that cant do its job that is on LG. Shame shame on you LG. You are the absolute WORST.

Looks nice and saves space but works very poorly. Does not wash clothes properly and dont even try to add anything extra like laundry sanitizer or anything it will stop half way through the wash to throw a code up about suds.Have to wash a load of towels with the bare minimum laundry soap or this happens every time. Which you have to basically run the cycle again with NO soap at all. Constantly get the dryer lint code when drying clothes even though we clean the lint screen after every use. Just a big waste of money. Havent even had this set a year and already looking into replacing it with a different brand.

We purchased this stacked washer dryer unit to replace the late 90s separate washer and dryer units in our laundry room as part of an over hall and remodeling project. Moving to a stacked washer dryer unit allowed us to free up much more cabinet and counter space for our laundry room. Our WKEX200HBA stacked washer dryer unit is infinitely more efficient than the units we were replacing and does a much better job at thoroughly cleaning and drying our clothes. We have a household of four and a lot of different types of laundry to be done the WKEX200HBA handles everything we throw at it easily no matter how dirty. With a multitude of temperature and care settings available we know that every type of clothing is well cared for. Additionally we do appreciate the Wi-Fi enabled functions as well particularly the notifications when loads are done especially handy when you have teenagers in the house who start laundry and then promptly forget about it. we would highly recommend the WKEX200HBA to anyone looking for a new washer and dryer.

Ive owned this stacker for 2 years now. Clothes wash great but typically come out of the dryer damp. I have never been able to connect the stacker to the app so I am limited to the cycles pre-programmed on the stacker. My washer WiFi touch button does not work and the volume function on the washer no longer works not sure but I believe half the touch panel no longer works. I can pick my pre-programmed cycle and thats it.

Ive had this WashTower for a little over three weeks and its been a joy to use. Washes and dries the clothes well and it even tells you how long itll take to complete and even notifies you when the washer and dryer cycles complete through the app on your phone. I wish the app were more intuitive to use although its not too hard to figure out. I found out about HE detergent which is the only kind of detergent you can use in the washer. Its concentrated and low sudsing which is needed in this front loading washer. Its way quieter than my old washer and dryer so I can watch tv and wash and dry without being annoyed about the noise. It even plays a soothing melody after the cycles complete. Overall I love this wash tower. Comes with a one year warranty and if you download the app and link it to your WiFi the manufacturer throws in another year warranty for free. I also bought another 5 years warranty from the retailer I bought it from for a total of seven years warranty. Last thing Ill mention is the steam dry feature which is a nice extra.

The drain pump failed and had to be replaced. Water leaked through the floorboards under the machine. Prior to that it performed well. It was hard to service because repair person was unable to independently move the machine out from the wall and needed assistance from a family member to do it.

Love at first use. It is quiet it is easy it is wonderful But I will say that LG and Lowes need to get together on the dryer plug length. It needs to be longer than 6 feet. I had to get longer t he plug is further down and had to order it as special because lowes only carried a 6 ft.

Purchased this unit about a year ago. Built like a tank. Still going strong. Very easy to use. Washes clothes very good. Easy to maintain this unit. Very pleased with this unit.

DONT BUY POOR QUALITY AND CANNOT GET PARTS FROM LG. Only 15 months old and error u5 received which we were told was vibration sensor. $400 and did not fix it. Now told circuit board also needs replaced but LG doesnt have part and cannot tell us when or if they can get it. If we wait indefinately? it will be another $500 with no guarantees that will fix it. Since dryer is attached we cant just replace washer. $2000 down the drain - regret buying this thing

Outstanding piece of technology. Super efficient washing and drying both with low levels of nose. The one negative is the user friendliness of the app. The app gives access to a range of online programs but: 1/ The do not include the standard manual options available on the machine- why? 2/ To access the options one needs to remember to click on the down site next to the word NORMAL- again why? Please upgrade the app interface.

Outstanding washer/dryer combo. The drying is fast and thorough without causing any shrinkage. The washer is also super efficient. Turbo wash actually works and substantially reduces the time. It takes a while to get the hang of programming via the app and i would have preferred a completely personalized option that allowed me to tailor make a program rather than having to choose one of the options offered. Both washer and dryer are very quiet and so far we have had absolutely no trouble with it.

So far this is a huge improvement from my last LG that was 7 years old. The only bad aspect is that the drain hose is 8 ft and the location I have caused me to have an extension.. this is worrisome. Other than that the actual washer and dryer both work great
